Hollywood has become a bit of a crowded place. Amidst the plethora of films that are released this year, a category shifting to the majority is that of stories adapted from previous stories. It seems like most new films anymore are book adaptations, play adaptations, sequels, prequels, or some combination of these elements. There are few truly original stories that make it through the clutter. There are, however, a few. These are the ones that we’re keeping our eye on in 2015.
To many, Christmas isn’t just about the gift exchange or just about the Christmas tree or just about remembering Jesus; it’s the whole package. Whether you do or don’t celebrate Christmas, and whether you do or don’t do so religiously, we hope that you enjoy seeing what great Christmas movies are out there for you to enjoy.

The Doctor has had a plethora of them during his 11/12 incarnations (depending on how you count John Hurt’s Doctor), which have, in many cases, made the Doctor a more interesting character. His choice of companions shows things about him. His love for humanity. His love for adventure. His compassion. How he loves friendship. They’ve even, in some cases, brought out the best in him and made him change for the better. Looking throughout the show’s long tenure, these are, in my opinion, the 10 best Doctor Who companions to date.
